Welcome to the web site of the Columbus Tamil Sangam (CTS), an organization devoted to people in central ohio who has an interest in Tamil language and culture.

CTS was started in 1996 by Late Chevalier Sivaji Ganeshan. The Sangam has been serving the Tamil Speaking community of Columbus and its surrounding areas for more than 13 years.

Our Mission

To provide a secular, non-sectarian and non-profit literary organization for all Tamils living in and around Central Ohio;

To also foster and promote Tamil Language, literature, values, traditions, culture and art;

To provide a forum to the younger generation to participate in literary and cultural programs and to showcase their talents;

To hosts events involving Tamil scholars and artists from around the globe for the benefit of Tamils residing in Central Ohio and surrounding regions;

To organize events by cooperating and coordinating with other Asian/Indian/Regional organizations with similar objectives.
